John Lee Siebert erzählt in seinem Sechsminüter von den kleinen
metaphorischen Kollisionen des Alltags.
Der Regisseur verbindet geschickt seine Elemente wie den Fahrradkurier, einen Verschütteten Kaffee, fehlende 20 Cent und einen verpassten Zug. Bald wird klar, dass hier alles zusammenhängt. Dabei erliegt der Filmemacher nicht der Versuchung, alles rasend schnell zu erzählen.
Er nimmt sich in ruhigen Bildern Zeit und gibt den Schauspielern Raum, ihre kurzen Rollen auszufüllen. Daraus bezieht der Film seinen Reiz. Während des Abspanns hat man das Gefühl, das kurze Werk hätte länger sein dürfen.
Und die visuelle Pointe am Ende ist sehr schön gelöst.
Fazit: Geschickt erzählter Episoden(!)-Kurzfilm, den man sich länger wünscht.

TRÆOS
Last week, we finished the shots for the band performance of the new TRÆOS musicvideo. Today we will start working on the first edit and the technical concept for the storyline.
Die Dreharbeiten für unser bald erscheinendes Video sind soweit abgeschlossen. Es war ein sehr sehr gutes Wochenende. Hier nochmal ein dickes Dankeschön an Johnny, Ruben und Crew. Ohne euch wär nichts möglich gewesen!
Maybe I should work on other projects… but playing with anaglyph images and glasses is just too much fun.
A kind of mood animatic I made for animation class.
